Our members are typically entrepreneurs, business owners, freelancers, large corporate companies and Multinationals and those involved in business innovation. This role could suit someone who is attending college, or looking to work in a more flexible way.


As an important part of our core marketing team you’ll work closely with our events and community teams to help tell the story of our amazing community and all the great stuff that goes on at REPUBLIC OF WORK on a daily basis.

Content creation is a key part of this role, you’ll be one of the key people developing content for our new blog, as well as working on ebooks, podcast content and other tools to communicate our big ideas.

You’ll work with the Events Team on the production of our weekly events, taking specific responsibility for promoting the events to our internal and external communities to help spread the word and drive attendance. Developing creative marketing plans to drive attendance to every event will be a key focus. Working on creative copy for pre-and post-event communications and all event promotional materials will also be one of your responsibilities.

Helping the Community Team to communicate with our members is a key part of the job, you’ll quickly become a well known, friendly face to our members and community. You’ll also be an ambassador for REPUBLIC OF WORK in the local community; growing and improve our presence in the communities we are currently active in, including MeetUp groups, Creative Mornings, other Networking events etc.

As part of this you’ll help oversee REPUBLIC OF WORK’s social media presence by posting relevant and on-brand posts weekly through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and LinkedIn. You’ll help respond to questions, comments, and discussion related to our social media presence quickly, efficiently, and in a way that embodies the REPUBLIC OF WORK brand.

You’ll also have the opportunity to work with our partners - Bank of Ireland, Nespresso, TodayFM, Newstalk, Red Bull and others and help develop new partnerships with local, national and international brands.

  • An instinct and natural ability for content creation - experience with developing written/video/both content is a big plus.
