EX=CX: Employee Experience Equals Customer Experience
Over many years, we've been taught that the customer or client experience (CX) is of paramount significance to business...Numerous angles have been investigated in an effort to nurture this relationship...but only recently has the symbiotic connection between employee experience (EX) and customer experience emerged as a strong discussion point worth serious consideration.
As Richard Branson is quoted as saying: "If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients - Happy employees = Happy customers".
With companies today clamouring to acquire and retain talent and customers, this approach is the right approach - The bottom line message is clear - you can't provide great customer experience if you don't provide great employee experience. In this talk, I will explore the overlaps in these experiences and their impact, as well as discuss how to optimise this intrinsic relationship.

Fiona is one of the few solely-dedicated practitioners in employer brand strategy in Ireland. Her business background is in entrepreneurship, having spent almost 20 years directing various retail concerns. She has a broad range of commercial awareness and skills and a particular interest in the tech industry.
Fiona holds a MA in Organisational Learning & Development, a BA in English and a Diploma in Business Management & Marketing. She is also an adjunct lecturer at University College Cork in Strategic HR Management and is a mentor and advisor for the IGNITE Graduate Business Programme at UCC and Enterprise Ireland.
