Donagh Kiernan: Founder & CEO, Tenego Partnering

Donagh formed Tenego Partnering in 2003 to focus on driving Sales Channel success for software companies across Europe, North America and further.

This focus draws on Donagh's expertise in defining, selling and delivering technology solutions, and builds on almost 30 years of technology development, sales and business ownership, investment and management.

Tenego Partnering provides sales channel development execution services to growing and established software companies from Ireland, UK, continental Europe and North America, with an operating team spread across these regions.

Starting as a software technology professional, over the last 30 years Donagh has developed, sold and delivered high-calibre software solutions to many well-known national and international organisations in various industry sectors and international markets. In Donagh's early career he worked with small software companies developing Engineering and Desktop Publishing products with customers worldwide.

In 1994, Donagh established Vistech Software. Vistech sub-contracted software development services to the software industry and, over the next seven years, became one of the rising stars of Ireland's technology boom, featuring in Deloitte & Touché Ireland's Technology FAST 50 for three consecutive years in 2000, 2001 and 2002. Later becoming an investor, director and CEO of Campbell Informatics building and selling engineering data management software into international Life Science Manufacturers.

Donagh's two great passions in business are High Growth Businesses and Industry Development. From this, Donagh is an avid business networker and highly active in industry development initiatives and organizations: NSC Campus (as founder and board member), IT@Cork, Technology Ireland, Cork Institute of Technology Alumni and Enterprise Ireland commercialisation and internationalisation initiatives. As a founder and Board Member of IT@Cork, he drives and facilitates TechBrew Cork, in conjunction with Technology Ireland with which Donagh has been driving TechBrew Dublin for over 4 years. These informal events offer topical industry discussion and networking opportunities.

In 2007/2008 Donagh was selected to participate with 32 Irish CEOs in the year-long Stanford University Graduate School of Business Leadership4Growth Program by Enterprise Ireland.
