Lunchtime Learning: GDPR - One Year On:

With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) officially being one year old in May, Enguard invite you to a Lunchtime Learning session on the GPDR over the past 12 months.

We have all heard about GDPR over the past year, but how much of it do we really understand? Do we really understand the new legislation and how non-compliance can affect our business? More about Kenneth Baker, GDPR Consultant with Enguard:

Kenneth Baker joins Enguard with wide range of experience in data protection. He previously worked as Data Protection Officer for Focus Ireland one of Ireland's largest homeless charities. Working with other national organisations, he represented Focus Ireland on the Charities Institute of Ireland's GDPR working group from 2016 onward and has championed GDPR and data protection compliance measures within the Focus Ireland. Kenneth completed the European Certified Data Protection Programme (ECDPO) with the Irish Computer Society in 2018.

Kenneth has also worked in a variety of administrative, communications and fundraising roles for a variety of organisations such as International Commission for Holocaust Era Insurance Claims, London, Merchants Quay Ireland and Focus Ireland. Kenneth graduated from UCC with a B.Sc in Government and Public Policy and holds a Masters in Politics. Media and Culture of the UK (British Studies) from the Huimboldt University, Berlin.
