As a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) Barry has over 25 year’s commercial and sales experience with a number of leading companies including Diageo PLC. Barry has extensive expertise in delivering sustainable revenue and profit gain while effectively managing commercial teams in management positions. In his capacity as commercial manager with Greenstar, a leading recycling company, Barry had commercial responsibility for a geographical region with a turnover in excess of €35m per annum. Barry has a proven track record in developing early stage SME businesses and in recent years was involved in growing revenue in an emerging SME business from €4.5m to €10m per annum over a 2 year period. With BKK Barry specialises in business and corporate strategy, business reviews, transactional services and assist with funding for SME businesses.
Dermot O’ Kelly; Director; Business Development
Dermot, who qualified with the Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA), has more than 10 years’ experience in accounting and compliance related services. Dermot has a blend of practice and industry experience having previously worked for EY and Amazon Web Services Inc. During his time in practice and industry, he has worked with a variety of MNCs’, large indigenous entities and SMEs’. He has managed a large array of accounting and compliance related tasks, and has also led large projects including the development of an accounting centre of excellence for a large MNC in Cork.
