Tad Kirakowski, Project Manager and Communications Officer with VOICE (Voice Of Irish Concern for the Environment), will deliver a presentation on the following:
This session will discuss the background of VOICE, its aims, on-going projects and how you can get involved. It will then discuss the issue of waste in Ireland, how we as a nation each produce about half a tonne of waste per person, and almost twice the EU average of plastic. We will then discuss actions you can take to reduce the waste you bring home, finally we will discuss recycling; what can and cannot go into the household/office recycling bin.
This will be an interactive session, complete with a brief recycling demonstration and with questions encouraged throughout!
