Celebrating Ireland’s Startup Ecosystem: Enterprise Ireland Start-Up Day
Ireland’s startup ecosystem was on full display this morning at Enterprise Ireland’s annual Start-Up Day, held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
With over 650 entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders in attendance, the event continues to stand as the largest gathering on Ireland’s startup calendar, bringing together companies across ICT, life sciences, fintech, food, and sustainability.
The day opened with insights from Kevin Sherry, who shared Enterprise Ireland’s 2025 startup results, highlighting the continued growth and ambition within the Irish ecosystem.
A key highlight of the event was the Spinout Showcase, where emerging companies took to the stage to deliver live pitches, demonstrating the strength of innovation coming from research and early-stage ventures.
Looking ahead, Enterprise Ireland also announced the development of a new National Accelerator Programme, backed by €21 million in funding over the next three years. This initiative will build on the legacy of the National Digital Research Centre, supporting the next generation of founders as they build and scale.
